Project_ X

     Presentation of " Project X " , site specific project designed in cooperation with theatre director P. Viecha as a proposal for Open Call - Site specific performance festival, organized by Prague Quadrienale 2018. Holešovice Exhibition Ground has a rich history. The state establishments and principles of power, which appeared in the 20th century in the Czech Republic, had used the Exhibition Ground for propaganda, exhibitions or liquidating purposes. Our aim is to work with the atmosphere of specific political regimes of the 20th century, such as socialism and national socialism, and to bring this atmosphere onto the spectator. Apart from this, the spectator will be confronted with the phenomenon of power once as a passive victim and once as an individual whose decision can influence the acting of the performers in two ways: once as a part of the crowd which is influenced by its surrounding, the second time as an individual who cannot hide from responsibility.
